The future of molecular medicine depends not only on the progress of research and its impact on clinical practice. It is also determined by the attitude of the general public and its encouragement of modern biomedicine and genetics. The MDC has taken steps to ensure that patients and members of the public are kept informed of the latest developments.
The Campus Berlin-Buch GmbH has established a Life Science Learning Laboratory where every day pupils, their teachers, and other groups can learn about the basics of genetics, genetic engineering, and genome research.
